Lehi City Council recap — September 22, 2026

What the Lehi City Council took up on September 22, 2026

Brief summary of the September 22, 2026 Lehi City Council meeting:

The two items with money attached are both on consent. The city is buying property for the 2300 West widening and extending its citywide Waste Management agreement with a new special collection service, and either can pass in one motion with the minutes; the agenda gives no price for the parcel and no cost or term for the extension. The hazardous waste proposal was presented at a 4:00 p.m. work session the day before. The numbering is also unreliable: Resolution #2026-52 appears twice on this agenda, once for the property acquisition and once for the Walker Development Agreement, and #2026-53 and #2026-54 were the PARC guidelines and the Data Privacy Program Policy on the September 8 agenda. A resident searching by resolution number will find two different decisions. On the regular agenda the four land-use items are each listed separately with an address. No hearing is noticed for any of them. Ordinance #41-2026, the Traverse Mountain Area Plan amendment changing approximately 5 acres from High Density Residential to Highway Commercial, is printed on the agenda but marked postponed at the request of the petitioner, so it is not counted as an item here. The 5:30 p.m. pre-council session takes no action and is not counted here.

*Procedural-transparency score grounded in the agenda as published: 9 listed item(s) — 0 public hearing(s), 4 on consent, 4 land-use/ordinance, 0 other action, 1 presentation(s).*
