To date the platform has taken no institutional funding. Infrastructure and maintenance are covered by the operator. As partnerships begin, every one will appear in the table above with its amount range, term, and exactly what it funds.

Our funding principles

• Funders pay for coverage, capacity, and access — never for content. No funder decides what is collected, how it is scored, what is published, or what is taken down.
• No government or political money touches editorial. Public institutions may underwrite public-access infrastructure; they receive no control over records about their own jurisdiction.
• No single funder exceeds ~30% of our annual budget.
• All data is public by default and eventually free to everyone. Any early-access window is time-boxed, never permanent exclusivity.
• Sponsored and unsponsored cities are built and scored by the identical automation — paying for a city buys its maintenance, not preferential treatment.
